- Complete and submit application
- Pay application fee
- Upload documents
- Apply for Student’s pass (if required)

Outcome
Receive an application outcome within one month or earlier before programme commencement.

Before starting your application, make sure you have the following ready:
- Academic & Language RequirementsEnsure you meet the programme’s academic and English language requirements.– IELTS / TOEFL results (according to programme requirements)– PTE-A
– Duolingo
- Educational Certificates & TranscriptsScan copies of relevant certificates and transcripts (PDF format, except OpenCert). Examples include:– GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level certificates– International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma– IGCSE– Degree certificates– Exam transcripts– Translated and notarised copies if documents are not in English
– Other academic documents
- Identification Document
– International applicants: Valid passport and front and back of FIN (if applicable).
- Passport-Sized Photograph– Taken within the last 3 months– White background– JPEG format, 400 × 514 pixels
– File size: ~60KB
- Additional Documents (for University of Birmingham Master’s Programme)– Statement of purpose– CV– Two reference letters
- Access the SIM Application Portal– New applicants: Create an account on the SIM Application Portal.– Returning applicants: Log in with your registered email and password.

- Complete Your Application– Fill in all required fields and follow on-screen instructions.– Upload all supporting documents (see Step 1 checklist).
* Applications with incomplete/incorrect information or missing documents will not be processed.
- Application Fee– International applicants: S$545.00 (incl. 9% GST; excludes Student’s Pass fees)
Note: The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. A full refund is only given if the intake does not commence.
- Make Payment Online (Payment Methods)– PayNow (platform fee waived until further notice)– Flywire (non-refundable platform fee applies)– Overseas transfer (bank transfer may take up to 4 days)

Find out more: Study Loans Information - Student’s Pass (for International Applicants)– International students applying for a full-time programme must also apply for a Student’s Pass (STP) online.– Approval is subject to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore.
All supporting documents (e.g., identification, academic transcripts, certificates) submitted in your application must be verified by SIM.
You may choose one of the following verification channels:
- Physical Verification– Bring your original documents to the SIM Global Education Student Recruitment Office or mail the original notarised documents by post to:SIM Campus, Student Recruitment Office461 Clementi Road, Singapore 599491Block A, Level 2Operating Hours:Mon–Fri: 9.00am – 5.00pm
Closed on public holidays and SIM shutdown days (Eve of Christmas, Eve of New Year, Eve of Chinese New Year, 3rd day of Chinese New Year).
- Virtual VerificationFor International Applicants:– Arrange a video verification appointment with an SIM country representative.– Contact your SIM GE international representative or agent for assistance.
- Direct Submissions (IB, AP, SAT, ACT)Please ensure scores are sent directly to SIM GE using the correct institution codes:
Once your application is complete, you will receive a decision within one month or earlier, before the programme starts.
If your application is successful, follow the instructions in the email to accept the Student Contract and complete your programme enrolment.
