The BSc Economics and Finance programmeat the University of London is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to navigate the competitive landscape of the finance world.
One of the standout features of Rohen’s journey is his practical approach to learning. Through trading internships and participation in trading competitions organized by AmplifyME and Citadel, he strengthened his knowledge in equities, commodities, and fixed income. This hands-on experience not only deepened his understanding of the financial markets but also laid the foundation for a groundbreaking venture – SkyBlue Capital.

SkyBlue Capital, a startup quantitative hedge fund co-founded by Rohen and his friend Vignesh Kumaravel, exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit nurtured at SIM. The inception of the company was born out of a shared interest in trading and a mutual desire to create something extraordinary.

Setting up SkyBlue Capital came with its set of challenges, from applying theoretical concepts learned in university to real-world problems to mastering the art of client relations and sales. Rohen emphasizes the importance of setting short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals, illustrating how he and his team managed the delicate balance between running a company and excelling in academics.
