Transitioning to studying abroad unleashed a world of experiences for Yong. From grappling with newfound independence to forging connections with peers from diverse backgrounds, every challenge was an opportunity to break out of her comfort zone. Battling homesickness, Yong found solace in social engagements and extracurricular activities available on campus, as there are 80 student clubs and societies within SIM.
